Dr. Foad Shahabian is a Prosthodontist and a graduate of the National Organization for Development of Exceptional Talents (NODET).
He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 2006 from Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and completed his specialty training in Prosthodontics in 2012 at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences.
Dr. Shahabian is board-certified in Prosthodontics and served as a faculty member at Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences from 2012 to 2017. His private clinical practice has been active since 2013.
His professional focus centers on evidence-based decision-making, biological analysis of treatment planning, and achieving a balance between esthetics, function, and long-term prognosis.
DentCast was founded in 2019 and is the first Persian-language scientific dental podcast. It was created as an independent educational initiative aimed at extending academic-level learning beyond the traditional university setting.
Over the years, DentCast has become one of the most recognized and respected educational platforms among Persian-speaking dentists, with thousands of active followers. The project has inspired the development of multiple dental podcasts within the region.
The Persian edition of DentCast is built around structured audio episodes, written summaries, visual educational modules, and AI-assisted scientific article analysis. The English section of this website focuses on original ideas and independent conceptual notes — content that goes beyond article summaries and reflects the author's analytical perspective.
